Seeing the photo, this might look like a conventional running shoe, built to provide stability (although with much nicer design than most…). But it’s not, Anima BUGrip is more minimalistic. The flexible construction of the sole and the neutral shock absorption follows the natural motion of the foot without directing it. Other features include a foot shaped last and memory foam in heel that gives comfort. Toe bumper and heel counter together with a full rubber soles that offers trail protection. Water repellent upper materials.
Anima BUGrip has great running feeling and it’s a shoe you can have a lot of fun with. It’s also technically demanding. It’s best suited for high paced runs, for a runner with drive in the stride that lands on the mid or front part of the foot.

BUGrip Dynamic studs
A BUGrip® sole has 15-19 integrated steel studs. The design of the studs, together with the proper- ties of the rubber compound, gives these studs a dynamic function. The studs work independently from each other and are not completely fixed. When weight is applied the studs push in toward the surface of the sole. How far they are pushed in depends on the pressure exerted by the user and the resistance from the ground.
Non absorbing materials
Non-absorbing materials gain very little weight when they get wet. Important for footwear used in wet condition activities where weight is a critical factor.
